It had been employed by a local abattoir which was closing down, to graze sheep and cattle.[citation wanted] This land appealed to like because the area was properly flat and was lined having a pasture of buffalo grass. The grass had been grazed so evenly with the sheep and cattle that it demanded minor to really make it serviceable for aircraft.[c
